A buggy 2-in-1 gives you the option of switching from city strolling to offroading and many more modes to make life with your child a lot easier! Which one should you choose?
Modular seats are not part of the frame and can be adjusted to face forward or backwards depending on whether your child is a parent or a child. Most of them also recline.
Full Size
Our go(tm), inline(r), version of buggy 2-in-1 is ideal for babies right out of the box. It has infinite recline levels for nap time and a fully flat bed. The seat is padded and placed in the best position to distribute weight evenly and keep a steady centre of gravity so you can bounce over any kerbs. It folds easily and fits inside your car boot. When your kids want to ride in their own way it easily converts to a smooth go (tm) single.
Umbrella
There are two or more umbrella buggy models on the market. They tend to be smaller and lighter than the rest of our line when folded. Our favorite models are the Mountain Buggy Nano Duo and the Delta Children LX side by side. Both are stylish and sleek and offer some of our most spacious storage spaces. They also have reclined seats and leg rests. They are missing some features that we would consider essential in a full size stroller.
3-Wheel
A 3-wheel buggy provides the best in manoeuvrability & performance when out on all terrain adventures - especially in offroad conditions. They are bigger than a regular buggy, and have larger tyres. This gives them more grip and stability for rough adventures. They can be able to turn at a moment's notice and are extremely easy to steer using just one hand, while still being super lightweight and agile.
A 3-wheel buggy is a great option from the beginning (if using a car-seat adapter) or when your child is older and no longer needs to be in a seat. They are great for those short trips around town, or when you need something that can take on more rough terrain on your walks.
The reason they are heavier is because they come with more features, and they are designed to be more rugged. They are able to withstand more punishment. They are often folded with the seat in place, unlike some umbrella buggies. This makes them an ideal choice if you need to pop it down quickly or if you want your children to sleep for a little while out and around.
